Quick Start Guide
Get started with your audiobook journey in just a few simple steps:
Browse Your Library
Scroll through the collection of audiobooks. Each card shows the book cover, title, category, and duration.
Find Your Book
Use the search bar to find books by title or author, or filter by category to find age-appropriate content.
Explore Book Details
Click on book info overlay or overview text to see detailed information in the new Book Details modal.
Start Listening
Click "Play Now" to directly open the player, or click the book cover to open the immersive player.

Discover all the powerful features built into your audiobook library:
Smart Search
Type in the search box to find books by title, author, or description. The library updates as you type.
Library Statistics
See at a glance: total books, total chapters, and combined listening time for all books.
Mobile-Friendly
Works perfectly on phones, tablets, and desktop computers with touch-friendly controls.
Book Details Modal
New detailed view with book overview, author information, duration, chapters, and category.
Fullscreen Mode
Click the fullscreen button for an immersive viewing experience without distractions.
Advanced Player
Adjust playback speed, volume, enable continuous play, and customize visual effects.
Category Filtering
Filter books by age categories: Children, Adult, or view All books.
Smart Cursor
Cursor automatically hides during inactivity and reappears when you move the mouse or touch the screen.

How to Close the Modal:
- Click the "X" button in the top-right corner
- Click the "Close Details" button at the bottom
- Click outside the modal content
- Press the Escape (Esc) key on your keyboard
Category Filtering
Easily find age-appropriate content with our category filtering system:
How to Use Category Filters:
All
Shows all books in the library (default view)
Children
Shows only books suitable for children (green badge)
Adult
Shows only books for adult listeners (red badge)
Using the Library
Book Card Interactions
Click the book cover
Opens the audiobook player directly
Hover over book card
Shows overlay with book information
Click "Play Now" button
Quick access to player without opening details
Click book info overlay
Opens detailed Book Details modal
đą Mobile Tip
On touch devices, the book info overlay doesn't appear on hover. Instead, tap anywhere on the book card (except "Play Now") to open the Book Details modal.
Library Keyboard Shortcuts
Using the Player
Basic Controls
Click/Tap
Click anywhere on the player screen to play/pause the audio
Mouse over
Move mouse to the bottom of the screen to show playback controls
Hover near edges
Access chapters (left) and settings (right) by hovering near screen edges
Long press
On mobile, long press to see book details without opening
đą Mobile Double-Tap Tip
Double-tap on the player screen to show/hide the track information (chapter title and description).
Player Keyboard Shortcuts
Player Settings
Available Settings:
Auto Play
Automatically play next chapter when current one ends
Image Fade Effect
Enable smooth transitions between chapter images
Advanced Mode
Unlock additional settings like fade duration control
Playback Speed
Adjust from 0.75x to 2.0x speed
Volume Control
Adjust audio level with the slider
How to Access Settings:
In the player, either:
- Hover your mouse near the right edge of the screen, OR
- Click the gear icon (âī¸) in the controls bar, OR
- On mobile, tap the "âī¸ Settings" button in the top navigation
Troubleshooting
Common Issues & Solutions:
No Sound
Check your device volume and the player's volume slider
Player Won't Open
Make sure you're clicking the book card or "Play Now" button
Modal Won't Open
Click on the book info overlay or overview text, not just the cover
Images Not Loading
Some books may have placeholder images - this is normal
Controls Not Appearing
Move your mouse to the bottom of the screen
Book Won't Play
Check your internet connection and try refreshing
â ī¸ Additional Troubleshooting
- Cursor Disappeared: Move your mouse or tap the screen to bring it back
- Can't Close Modal: Use Escape key or click outside the modal content
- Settings Not Saving: Clear browser cache and try again
If problems persist, try refreshing the page or returning to the library and selecting the book again.
Tips & Tricks
Category Filters
Use category filters to quickly find books suitable for different age groups
Quick Return
The red "Back to Library" button in the player closes the player at any time
Auto-Save Settings
Your settings (like volume and playback speed) are saved automatically
Text Clicking
You can click on book overview text to open the detailed modal view
Immersive Mode
Fullscreen mode provides the most immersive experience with larger artwork
The End Animation
At the end of a book, you'll see a special "THE END" animation before returning to the library
